| I've had the TV on TLC all night so I don't have to find something to watch everytime I have some down time, but all the shows are starting over...sad. So I started flipping, hoping for some Law and Order, yep and I find it on Bravo! Because after awhile that's all Bravo shows. I'm running sound tomorrow and not looking forward to it, four and a half hours of sleep doesn't make you a really attentive person. I'm sure it will be fine as long as I don't mess up the "special music" :) Stuff happened at work earlier, but I can't tell you. That's the way that it goes, other people get to talk about all the really funny or strange things that happen, but not me. I have to wait until I work with Karla. I'm on the fourth Wheel of Time book and I got a few others at the library to tide me over until Karla finishes with the fifth book. I have to get geared up again about wedding stuff, next on the list is the invitation list and for those that don't know...we have the reception site. TaDa! It was actually Steve and Carol's doing. I have decided to clean out the spare room...and I hope to live through the experience and come out with a new perspective on life. Naomi is going to be in Anderson next week, so with her help I plan to finish watching The Terminal. I watched Garden State today and really liked it, which was surprising because I didn't even know what it was about when I bought it (it came in a pack of three movies). I am really looking forward to V for Vendetta, so anyone interested in see it should contact me :) Oh, and I think Emma Thompson created "Nanny McPhee" just for me, it was an entirely delightful movie. | | |
| http://www.publix.com/custom/decoratedcakes/CakeDetail.do?id=7&childId=1163. The link is to the wedding cake I want. Yes, I know that it is a kids birthday cake, but picture it with no candles, no presents and in black and white. That's kinda what it will look like. Becca and I have talked about it and she can decorate it, but if I do buy it from Publix, it's only 40.00 dollars. We started planning our fund-raising in Acteens tonight for the National Acteens Confrence (NAC) that will be in Kansas City, Missouri, summer 2007. We want to fly, so we're going to start raising money now. We have some really cute ideas and Becca, Heather, and I are getting together tomorrow to discuss them in detail. Jen G.'s belly is starting to drop some, so we think Rhys is going to be coming earlier than expected, she is about ready, though she is one of the happiest pregnant women I've ever met. I didn't do a lot today, except read and pay a few bills. Steve came by to take off my garbage, which was wonderful, because I was starting to have nightmares about it. We stood in the yard talking politics and religion for an hour, then I went to church. Overall it was a nice day, the weather, the people (with the exception of J.P., who kept hitting me with his rolled up financial report during the business meeting). I love days off.

| I survived the 12 hour shift this weekend, but felt unwell and called out on Sunday, so I did punk out a little bit.4pm to 4 am isn't that bad, but my sleep schedule is all out of whack. Youth Sunday was this past Sunday and it was really good. I was supposed to run sound, but I was working off five hours of sleep or so and passed it off to Mr. Dave. I did catch the butt end of Sunday school, but I don't remember anything other than Hayden (Becca's nephew) had gotten his long "Hanna boy" hair cut off as punishment. I had lunch with Karla today at Paneara, yummm....My mom came down to see the wedding dress and just visit, which was really nice. I wished she could have stayed longer. I proceeded to work out to my "Dance Party Workout" video. I thought that it seemed like fun exercise, yeah take a minute to laugh...it' not as fun if you are totally uncoordinated. Steve came by with chocolates and a HOT PINK rose, how fun is that!?! Lots is the anwser. I bought Karla bottled water and some "kissables" for V-Day, because I am constantly drinking hers. I saw the Clardy's, they were doing rigging for the upcoming Senior Follies. I talked to Becca and Richie. I went by Becca's last night to see the cake she decorated for Richie and it was fantastic. I'm not just saying that, because she doesn't read this. I picked out the wedding cake the other day and Becca is going to decorate it. The biggest news is that....I did my DISHES and tidied my house! Yep, like a real person. I picked some paper whites that are blooming in my yard as a natural touch, but they smelled so bad that they are now setting on the porch to air out or die...I would rather they just not stink. That's it for now, time for reading and sleeping.

| So, it's raining...I blame it on Karla. She did not like the nice weather and scared it away. I now have her stinky winter weather. She's still not happy, because she wanted SNOW. I want sunshine and lollipops....humming....humming...done. Today is Shambra's birthday. I sent him an e-card from Hallmark, because I care and send the very best. I'm sending him a birthday/Valentine package this week, but I have to get the address for where ever they are going to be in two weeks and send it there. I stood out in the rain and got soaked, because a person I was working with had ten minutes left and decided they couldn't handle it anymore. I survived. Bible study tomorrow and African Stew! If I had not been slack today I would have the stew waiting for me when I got home tonight.
Keep warm. | | |
| I bought my wedding dress and I'm finally planning the wedding. Shambra is safely in Canada and touring has started. Becca found a part-time job, so we can't spend as much time together, because she is not on a set schedule. In general everything is pretty good. I read late and sleep in. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. I don't think people do that when thier married or if you don't work second shift. I am spending a few days, including Valentine's Day, with Bethany and Matthias. Trinity is going out West for something. I'm excited, because I have two dates for Valentine's. I figure, we should treat ourselves to dinner and maybe a movie. Karla is letting me borrow the Wheel of Time series. I don't read a lot of fantasy anymore, but it's really addictive and the author is from and still lives in Charleston, SC. I think Karla should get him to sign her books.
All for now. | | |
